Navigating the challenges and obstacles of life can feel lonely and isolating, whether it’s the weight of grief, the uncertainty of a difficult transition, or the work of exploring who you are. Wherever you find yourself, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
My approach to counseling is both integrative and person-centered. I believe that no two clients are alike, and therefore, no single therapeutic modality will serve everyone equally well. While staying rooted in a person-centered approach, I draw from a range of evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, and ACT, to create a tailored approach that centers each person’s unique circumstances and goals. I also recognize the distinct, layered ways that overlapping identities shape each person’s experiences, and I strive to maintain a social-justice-oriented lens that embraces every aspect of my client’s identity within the therapeutic space. My role, as I see it, is to help you access the inner resources you already possess, develop greater self-awareness, and cultivate the resilience needed to live authentically and meaningfully.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with friends, reading, cross-stitching, watching horror, psychological thriller, and comedy movies, and re-watching favorite shows like Parks and Recreation.
